We are situated in the heart of the charming village of North Curry surrounded by the beautiful Somerset Levels.

It's a very popular village and we have a superb pub "The Bird in Hand" which does excellent food every night.

This beautiful area is noted for many RSPB reserves for those keen on bird watching, photography and painting. Many people interested in Geneology come here in search for their ancestry using the Taunton archive and Village archives. A convenient stop over for those walking or cycling on the Lands End to John O’Groats trip. Somerset County Cricket ground is close by in Taunton for test matches. We have many National Trust properties in the vicinity, also the West Somerset steam railway, walking in the Quantocks, Hestercombe gardens and the Willow and Wetland Centre. We are conveniently close for weddings at Maunsel House. Each year we partake in Somerset Arts Week in our courtyard studio and have a sculpture garden in the making. There are Ceramic and Pottery courses in this village.
