Double Room

Our luxuriously spacious double room overlooks the garden and has it's own private bathroom and shower.

It has a TV/DVD with a selection of films for those quiet nights in.

A Somerset company called Miles Tea and Coffee Merchants supplies us with a delicious range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There is a mini fridge to keep the jug of fresh milk cool.

We decided to cut down on recycling masses of plastic water bottles by using stylish glass decanters to keep fresh water in. For little extra touches you will find complimentary chocolates and seasonal flowers from the garden.

This beautiful area is noted for many RSPB reserves for those keen on bird watching, photography and painting. Many people interested in Geneology come here in search for their ancestry using the Taunton archive and Village archives. A convenient stop over for those walking or cycling on the Lands End to John O’Groats trip. Somerset County Cricket ground is close by in Taunton for test matches. We have many National Trust properties in the vicinity, also the West Somerset steam railway, walking in the Quantocks, Hestercombe gardens and the Willow and Wetland Centre. We are conveniently close for weddings at Maunsel House. Each year we partake in Somerset Arts Week in our courtyard studio and have a sculpture garden in the making. There are Ceramic and Pottery courses in this village.
